Raw materials:

1 / 2 cup sugar, 1 / 4 cup rice vinegar, 1 / 4 cup water + 2 tbsp water, 1 / 2 tbsp garlic, chopped, 1 / 2 tbsp chopped red pepper slices, 1.5 tbsp flour, 1 / 2 tbsp salt.

Method:

In a small pot, bring sugar, rice vinegar and 1 / 4 cup water to a boil. Turn down the heat and add garlic and red pepper slices. When boiling again, add flour and remaining water. Bring to a boil again until the soup thickens. Season with salt. About 5-7 minutes.

Shrimp can be fried with sweet chili sauce or dipped with scallion.
